Shotzy Hides From the Big One

With a Hurricane coming at 12mph, it feels like an eerie crawl to inevitable doom. Shotzy is already taking cover.

hmmmm ... 12mph is about 18 km per hour .... that isn't really fast - did you miss some 00000000's ?

at that point the storm's winds were 175mph but the storm ITSELF was moving at 12mph. it was also about 300 miles across (or more), so imagine a 300 mille storm coming towards you at that creeping, 12mph pace! not good.

Um. Your dog is insanely cute.

My parents both live in the part of Florida that got something like 4 direct hits last year. My dad had new storm shutters put on his place, but my mom bought an RV and got the hell out of Dodge this year. She's driving America until November.

Batten down whatever hatches you have, and stay safe! Hope you have lots of candles, crosswords, and your loved ones near you...

Shotzy seemed to handle the storm VERY well. He didn't get scared once AND learned to find his little elephant where ever it may be in the house if you say "Where's the Republicans, bring me the Republicans!"

He's a good little democrat dog.
