OIL PRICES HIT ALL TIME HIGH (again)!!!

This is what prices are like in where La Federala is right now. I'm gonna experience this myself in a couple of days. prices are 40% highrer for gasoline than they were a year ago, AND think about this. These prices at the pump don't even (yet) reflect the fact that oil hit $65 a barrel today. $3 gas? here we come.

Of course, with all these record profits, its a good thing that Corporate welfare to Oil Companies is in the Billions! GOP conservative, fiscal responsibility at work!

Welll - but this is California Silicon Valley I guess. When I was there a couple of weeks ago they had the highest prices in the area. When I went north accross the Oregon - Border the prices went down a lot , in Seattle they rose again :-( but not as high as in Cali.
But anyway - this like $2.77 for a Gallon that are about 3.6 Liters. We pay 1.10 EURO for a Liter , that would be like almost $4.00 for a Gallon.

Get more efficient cars, don't you see that gas guzzler in the Background ?

You don't need a V8 , 4.6 Liters monsters just to drive to work or to MC.

Times have changed.

MC? What's MC? Miss. College?

Oh and I just read on CNN.com that oil hit $66 per barrel.

Sounds like somebody needs to get to work on some more incentives and tax breaks if the oil companies are going to be able to stay in buisness.

I think we are well on our way to that $4 a gallon.

I am giving serious and immediate thought of selling the BMW and getting a Beetle that'd save on gas...as well as free up some motorcycle buying money!
