let's run through this. GW Bush has met her, they've talked, and he's used her son for PR, so...you know what? I'm damn sure they're close enough for her to use Bush's first name.

Next, while you may think calling him a coward isn't the best tact to use, i'd have to say that sometimes SHAME is the last appeal you can make to a coward. One that likes to wear a cowboy hat at his dude ranch. One that has proclaim himself a "war president" (his words) to the press when his actions don't speak loud enough to show that same description to appropriately fit.

Uh...are you trying to say here (publicly...i mean, we can ALL see you, you know) that you believe the Yellow Cake evidence was true? REALLY? because if make-believe is all the evidence you need, we've stepped beyond the rational here in our conversation.

Brilliantly you describe the US as a REPUBLIC. unfortunately that has nothing to do with the claims bush has made about iraq. namely that our troops, and her son have DIED to bring DEMOCRACY to iraq. PLEASE find me any of the quotes where bush (heck, i'll take a surrogate) says we've invaded iraq to bring a "Republic" to iraq. can't find it, can you? sorry GHM. you seem to be the only one in the room talking about the founding of a republican form of government.

Ok Sweetcheeks: If we are at war, why did we go to war with out the US Congress declaring war? we get attacked and Bush can't even bring himself to declare war? tsk tsk tsk.

oh, that's Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 if you need to look it up.

heck, if you like, we can toss this one in: I'd argue it is a high crime to purposely use faulty evidence to invade another nation. That's part of the standard to trigger an impeachment under Article II, Section 4.

Greatful Iraqi's? just how many did YOU talk to? oh...THAT many? great.

I'm not even going to get into the Haliburton connections. you have to be brain dead to miss the picture on that one.

Finally, why did he re-enlist. I can't know. nobody can, because he's dead. I'd guess that he liked being in the millitary. you know, that's damn good when our president isn't lying to the troops about why they're fighting. he wanted to fight the war on terror, i'd bet. too bad bush had more important things to do.

The point of the matter is this. the president didn't plan for the war he got. he went in half assed and got our boys killed by the score. he won't up the troop levels to take care of the matter (and he fires the generals that ask for 'em) AND he won't take the troops out. THOSE are the only 2 options. well, i lie. there is another. we can keep making the same mistakes we've made and do nothing different. He seems to love that idea.

If you support this war in IRAQ and are under 39, you owe it to your country to go NOW and enlist. if you believe in this war, support our army with your life. they need you. if you are over 38, talk to your family and friends. talk them into enlisting. don't put a bumper sticker on your car and say you support this war. that's not support, its posturing and it is BS. I have recruitment documents here ON HAND and work next to a recruitment office if you need help. i will do everything in my power to help you aid the fight you love and support. if you aren't willing to do that...well i think it sucks that you'd turn your back on the troops at the moment they need you most. you are a coward and a lout.

there's your answer.

Why can't we refer to our president by his first name? We all elected him, right? He's the first American, right? Shouldn't he be the one guy we all call by his first name?

No one seems to mind when we or he calls leaders of other nations by their first names, though mostly those are only the leaders of nations we aren't friendly with (Fidel, Saddam).

Seriously, as a democratic republic with the ideal, if not the reality, of anyone being able to become president why should we exalt the president beyond all others?

I never heard an argument from ghm about why we should continue the current policy in Iraq, just that Sheehan should call him Mr. President and that she's not being polite. What about people having their sons killed for lies...that seems pretty damn impolite if you ask me.

well, i just wish the US could finally quit having a pussy for a president. i'm sorry. this jack ass will defend us against countries without weapons and he's moved his vacation away from his old vacation spot because he's afraid to talk to somebody's mom. jesus, he's just a pussy.

Where is GHM's response?

And, be careful, if you call Dubya pussy again Cheney might have another heart attack.
