The Washington Post reviews 2 Graphic Novels

One is a collection of previously released comics (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Vol. 2) and one is a stand alone story.

While i did enjoy the second League, and while it is about 1000x better than the movie which bears its namesake, i have to admit this story was a bit more on the Lurrid side...of course, those were the parts i liked in the first story, so i'm not complaining.

as for the other, i always like a good Sgt. Rock story and Joe Kubert is THE guy for this character. that being said, i should read this if i can ever get my hands on it. You know, for the life of me, i cannot understand why Sgt. Rock has not been made into a movie.
