Interesting

Mississippi may soon pass its own anti-abortion bill. Here's where it gets interesting. the democrat author of the bill said that the GOP try to beat up moderates and dems to rally around this issue. now he wants to see them rally around what the DEMOCRATS did. basically, this is saying this bill was coming anyway, so GOP...we're stealing your thunder bc YOU couldn't get an abortion bill passed but dems could.

hmm...since the law itself is moot (unconstitutional) this may prove shrewd. Another tag on by Dem. Committee Chair Steve Holland (Rep. - Plantersville): a requirement that women turned away from abortion get the benefit of state money to help support their child until that child turns 19. he states, “Our GOP buddies are interested in life from conception to birth, but we Democrats are interested in giving them a good foundation until they’re on their own so we put that in the bill. Let the Republicans vote it down if they want to,”

hmmm....

Ha! That's awesome. I think I might call Steve Holland and give him an "Atta, boy!"

Actually, all this aside, Steve Holland is my favorite Representative by far.
