Kerry leads Bush nationally, but this is not a good number to read. despite what CNN tells you, presidential races are not national elections. they are simultaneous state elections with the same candidates on the ballots. they are vastly different from state to state and as we saw before, the popular vote doesn't count for crap if the states required to win are not in that "win" column. the Kerry lead evaporates when this election is eyed on the state by state level. while i am not trying to rain on anyone's parade, i am trying to stress on how much work is out there to do.
