Apparently, certain churches in California (and perhaps beyond) block cell phones. And, I read, that in Italy students were using cameraphones to cheat on exams, so they installed cell jamming technology.
right on, anon! i'd like to see more of this (just not in the office where i work! damn phones cutting out...)
Man, I'm all about it! I hate that crap. Do they have technology to make people shut-up in movies? Some kind of electrode in the seat that shocks you when your voice gets above a certain volume? That would be worth the ten bucks or whatever it costs to see a movie these days.
i was complaining to la federala the other day about how i wanted a little scrolling LED readout/screen on my car so that i can have preset hateful messages for people that piss me off in traffic. I don't wanna send a simple hand gesture that won't show:
1) FULLY what they did wrong, &
2) JUST how mad i am!
