the mysterious lump on bush's back during the 1st debate was part of an earpiece device acording to an expert that sets these machines up for the military:

and private industry tells Salon that he believes the bulge is indeed a transceiver designed to receive electronic signals and transmit them to a hidden earpiece lodged in Bush's ear canal.

"There's no question about it. It's a pretty obvious one -- larger than most because it probably has descrambling capability," said Alex Darbut, technical and business development vice president for Resistance Technology in Arden Hills, Minn. Darbut examined photographs of the president's back taken from the Fox News video feed at the first presidential debate in Coral Gables, Fla., as well as 2002 photos of the president driving and working in a T-shirt on his Crawford ranch, which were posted on the White House Web site.

after lots of jokes dismissing it they wouldn't say 'no' until last week...but the story has been building...

Despite the official denials, the bulge brouhaha is still ballooning. On Tuesday, the New York Daily News produced a master tailor named Frank Shattuck who, after viewing photos from both debates, confirmed, "There's definitely something there, in between the shoulder blades. I can't say what it is, but it's not hidden very well. They should have come to me. I can hide a pistol under the breast."

This article shows a few photos but i'm shocked that no one has shown pics from the 2nd debate. i saw the lump in that one live on TV. the most compelling evidence so far has been the previous times Bush was caught having his lines fed to him. the article uncovers 3 instances where it happened. so far the NYTimes and the Washington Post have both covered the story. this followed salon's 1st story and now we have story number 2 from salon. if the news media looks at the 2nd debate video and really dives into this it could be devestating for Bush. i don't think this country could take the idea of a President that has to have someone tell him what to say. the election would be done. any thoughts on this one?
