My Post Debate Take

Well...not much to say. no knockoputs but bush didn't do as well. better than the 1st time but jesus...who couldn't? kerry just did a better job of controlling the debate and he sounded very presidential. one of the President's flaws is that he failed to really counter any attacks or challenges put against him. he detracted kerry and underminded his positions but never offered a defense of his own that was very effective at all.

That sorta thing appeals to people that were leaning your way already--and that very well may be the goal...but a president should be able to accomplish more than that and this one hasn't.
