As you could guess...somebody took a Poll.

CBS 'instapoll' results, from 200 undecided voters nationwide:

'Who won?'
Edwards: 42 %
Cheney: 29 %
tie: 29 %

'Debate improved your opinion of the candidate?'
Cheney: 29 %, opinion improved
Edwards: 58 %, opinion improved

Odd fact: when light of the question of Bush's qualifications to be Pres. 24% of these undecided voters in the CBS poll said that they were 'scared' of the idea of Dick Cheney as president. YOW! Who knows the quality of this poll but this isn't too bad. (this was reported by CBS and compiled on Salon.com)
