Cheney's daughter is Gay.

When Edwards mentioned that last week Cheney thanked him. kerry said the same in a complimentary way and you'd think the GOP was about to lose their minds.

well...excuse me if i'm not sympathetic to the GOP being 'shocked' when someone mentions a family member. i mean they NEVER said ANYTHiNG about Hillary Clinton...wait...they never stopped doing that! and don't tell me about her being a 'kid'. 1st of all...she's in her 30's a campaign executive and a gay rights activist...so don't give me the business that she's got no tie to any of this.

these GOP'ers are the ones that have a problem w/ gay people and they are the ones that want to act as if kerry called her some sort of 'name' or 'slur'. he didn't...but in their minds he did bc that is how they see being gay. i'm sorry but if you wanna be indignant...then you have to give half a damn about about gay people. if you don't...then shut the hell up about being hurt and shocked by all of this. if you want to get in a fight w/ me anytime soon...just come bring this up over the weeked.
