Billy Tauzin, the Republican that chaired the House Energy and Commerce Committee just got a Million Dollar job offer from the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturing Association. Oddly enough, Billy boy JUST FINISHED ushering through a radical revamp of the Medicare system which gives pharmaceutical companies sweetheart deal. See, Billy made it where the Federal Government (when buying the millions of Rx drugs purchased each year) is FORBIDDEN from buying at a bulk discount. rarely do we see such a direct line from the legislation to the payoff.
