Chris Matthews of MSNBC's HARDBALL didn't hold back this week. he stated White House's case for war in Iraq was:

"totally dishonest."

He adds: "(Dick Cheney) is behind it all. The whole neo-conservative power vortex, it all goes through his office. He has become the chief executive ...It's scary."

Describing the Cheney/Bush relationship:

"a man who never read any books, who didn't think too deeply, and they gave him something to think about for the first time in his life,"

The White House officially disagrees with all of this, FYI.
