Not Playing Politics

After being questioned about how the terror warnings seemed politically motivated to help Bush...Tom Ridge said:

'We don't do politics in the Department of Homeland Security.'

'cept he forgot about this little tidbit he dropped in the press conference...in case anyone missed it:

(The new terror alert was) 'the result of the president's leadership in the war against terror.'

no politics at all...huh?
