Walt Whitman after National Poetry Month

It seems a New Jersey student found a Walt Whitman 1888 interveiw in the school paper for The College of New Jersey. In it, he gives some advice for aspiring writers seeking a career in literature:

First, don't write poetry,
Second ditto;
Third ditto.
